Refund Policy

REFUND POLICY FOR CANDLES & CAKE TOPPERS

We do not exchange or refund items if you have changed your mind.

Should a product be faulty or a description misleading or inaccurate, we will gladly refund the item, less any discounts or promotions applied to the original order. The customer is responsible for return shipping to Cake Me Crazy and any reshipping fees associated with any additional items being posted back out. Please notify us by email within 14 days and we will reply with details of how you can return the goods to us. Although we aim to fulfil an order quickly, please allow a four-day turnaround during peak times.
Items will be exchanged or a credit note issued, providing purchases are in the same condition as when they first arrived with you, including any packaging.
The customer is responsible for all costs incurred to return parcels to Cake Me Crazy and must take all reasonable care to ensure items are returned to us safely and not damaged in transit.
Cake Me Crazy recommends a trackable mode of delivery as we will not be responsible for any parcels that are lost or misplaced in transit. An additional postage charge will apply to return the exchanged item to the customer. We do not refund for change of mind. 

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR ONLINE STORE CAKES

If you are placing an order from our online store, please choose carefully as no changes can be made once the order has gone through. Please note that if you do need to cancel an online order, a 25% administration fee will be deducted from your total order cost. 

48hrs + prior to collection / delivery: we will refund the payment made minus the admin fees below.
If we’ve already begun making your order, additional fees will be deducted based on how far into the process we are. 

Orders < $200 = $25 admin fee will be deducted from the refundable amount.
Orders > $200 = $50 admin fee will be deducted from the refundable amount.
Orders > $400 = $100 admin fee will be deducted from the refundable amount.

Between 24-48hrs prior to collection / delivery: we will refund you 50% of the total amount of your order. 

Less than 24hrs prior to collection / delivery will incur full fees as your cake will be well under way. Your cake will be ready for collection at the allocated time or we can chat to arrange something more suitable.

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR CUSTOM CELEBRATION & WEDDING CAKES

Any and all cancellations will result in the loss of your non-refundable deposit. All cancellations or changes must be in writing. If you cancel your booking within five days of the pick up or delivery date, your full booking amount will be forfeited.

4 weeks+ to collection / delivery: we will refund the payment made minus the admin fees below.
If we’ve already begun making your order, additional fees will be deducted based on how far into the process we are. 

Orders under $200 = $25 admin fee will be deducted from the refundable amount.
Orders over $200 = $50 admin fee will be deducted from the refundable amount.
Orders over $500 = $100 admin fee will be deducted from the refundable amount.

Between 2-4 weeks prior to collection / delivery: we will refund you 50% of the total amount of your order. 

Between 1-2 weeks prior to collection / delivery: we will refund you 25% of the total amount of your order. 

Less than 5 days prior to collection / delivery: No refund will be given, as your cake will be well under way. Your cake will be ready for collection at the allocated time or we can chat to arrange something more suitable.

Your admin fee can not be used towards other items.

The admin fee covers our time spent emailing, rescheduling your order, processing your orders, planning and logistics and time processing refunds.

We do understand that things happen; if you need to move your order date, you will need to notify us in writing, and the new date is subject to availability. 

We want you to be 100% happy with your Cake Me Crazy order! However, refunds that are requested due to dissatisfaction of design, colour shade or general decoration will not be honoured. If you are unsatisfied with the flavour quality of your cake and request a refund, this will be assessed at the discretion of our staff. In these circumstances, the cake must be returned. We are strictly unable to refund for a cake or product that has been consumed.
