Return and Refund Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at cakes@cakemecrazy.com.au. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Cake Me Crazy will aim to provide as much detail and assistance in relation to best storage practices for your order. Cake Me Crazy accepts no responsibility if a cake is damaged after it has been picked up by the client or a designated person, or, after the completion of delivery to the client’s address or event space. 


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Product Refunds (Excluding Perishable Products)
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

we want you to be 100% happy with your Cake Me Crazy order! however, refunds that are requested due to dissatisfaction of design, colour shade or general decoration will not be honored. If you are dissatisfied with the flavour or quality of your cake and request a refund, this will be assessed at the discretion of Cake Me Crazy. In these circumstances, the cake must be returned.

unfortunately, we are unable to issue a refund for a cake / dessert item that have been consumed.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellations will result in the forfeit of your non-refundable deposit. all cancellations or changes to your design must be requested in writing. Orders cancelled within 7 days of your pick up or delivery date will result in the full booking amount being forfeited. We also understand that things happen, if you need to move your date you are required to notify Cake Me Crazy in writing. Your requested date change is not guaranteed, and the new date will be subject to availability.

Covid Statement. 

Our cancellation policy for bookings affected by covid-19 or lockdowns are in line with our standard cancellation policy. By paying your deposit, the client accepts, understands and agrees to the risks associated with lockdowns. Any orders directly impacted by a lockdown, that is unable to go ahead or be postponed, will be classed as a cancellation and normal cancellation policies apply.

the 50% non refundable deposit remains non refundable. the deposit can be used as a credit for a new booking if agreed upon by both the client and Cake Me Crazy. this needs to be agreed upon in writing. booking credits are valid for 12 months from the original booking date.
